The mBuild Light Sensor is a light intensity detection module in the mBuild ecosystem by Makeblock. It is designed to measure ambient light levels and send data to compatible controllers such as CyberPi or mBot2 for interactive robotic and automation projects.
Measures ambient light intensity
Displays numeric values in mBlock software
Supports both block-based and Python programming
Plug-and-play connection via mBuild port
Compact and easy to mount on robots
Automatic light on/off systems
Light-following or light-avoiding robots
Environmental monitoring projects
Smart farming or greenhouse light detection (IoT projects)
The sensor uses a light-sensitive component (such as a photoresistor) to convert light intensity into an electrical signal. The controller reads this signal and uses it for decision-making in programs.
